Well done to this week's vision award winner - Isabelle S for her amazing attitude towards her learning this term.

Our Weekly Learning- Take a look at what we have been doing!

Most current learning at the top

As part of our science topic;

We completed an investigation about which drink causes the most teeth decay. We used different drinks and hard bolied eggs. The shell represented the enamel of our teeth.

We left the eggs in the drink for a week and then rated them 1-5 to show how much damage had been caused.

     The orange juice caused the shell to peel and become soft.

     The coke turned the shell brown. The water and milk didn't really change the egg at all.

We made clay teeth and identified the name of different types of teeth and what they are used for.

We have been using our history knowledge to build Anglo-Saxon settlements during our ourdoor learning this week.

We have had great fun this week making our own set of teeth out of clay to support our science topic.

The Children have made a great start back in their new class. This week we have been doing lots of work, here is a brief look at some of what we have been doing:

English - reading our text 'The Tin Forest' and creating word banks of vocabulary to describe the setting.

Maths-  we have been recognising and partitioning numbers up to 10,000.

Science - identifying types of teeth and what they are used for.
